English Character Brown Oak Flute in E♭ P254258

£308.00

Red Kite flutes – English Character Brown Oak Flute in the key of E♭finished with a Mahogany nose and standard block.

Description

Native American Style Flute in the key of Eby Red Kite flutes

The body of this flute is created English Character Brown Oak that has been sustainably harvested and prepared with love by our dear friend Mike of MacTimbers.

The flute has then been crafted, hand finished and tuned in the Red Kite Flute workshop in Kent, and is completed with a Mahogany nose and a Standard block tuning the flute to 440Hz.

This flute has really beautiful grain markings throughout the wood, and the Nose and block are made from re-cycled Mahogany doors.

Natural and also occasional tooling marks from the preparation of the wood, are deliberately left in these instruments, this particular flute has a couple on the side of the nose and one at the bottom underneath – to tell the story of its journey from tree to flute.

All Red Kite Flutes have the name Phil on the underneath of the flute – this is an honouring of our much loved and dear friend – the founder and original maker of our flutes – you can read the story here.

Listen to a simple recording of this flute here – wear headphones for the best experience – RECORDING COMING SOON

Comes with a soft fleece bag
