Hello Ros,
As the honoured keeper of the magnificent 22” drum i would be happy to have as much information as to its creation as I can. I cannot read your writing as to its name. I was somewhat overwhelmed this year at the healing weekend and could not take in all the information you gave me.
We greet the sun each morning and give thanks to it as it sinks below the horizon. Already I am in love with it.
Thank you for creating such beauty from the trees and the animals, such a wonderful way to honour them. I give thanks to them when I sound.
I am fortunate to be the guardian and keeper of a drum made by the wonderful Ros. Ros had a very different approach to help me choose a drum and guided me well, allowing me to feel and then play a few drums to hear the sound. I liked the way the beater was created by Ros for the drum, not just a separate item added.
I felt very emotionally tied to this drum in particular and laid with her yesterday, connecting to my drum through the Spirit Drum Shamanic Journey. It was quite unexpected to what I visualised may happen. For the whole journey I connected strongly to the spirits senses. His or her perception and sound of walking, running, the breath through the nose in particular stood out, the connection to others of his or her kind, the deep connection to nature. So thank you for your creation in bringing together a spirit alongside the precious trees that I can hold gratitude for and be a good keeper. Jenny x
